As the start of a child’s school journey, Kindergarten is a critical time for young ones to learn. Therefore, it is so important that children have a dedicated and caring teacher to offer instruction, support, and encouragement. Mrs. Rosemarie Miller fits that role—and then some—by going above and beyond for her students at Holy Martyrs School. Mrs. Miller takes the time to truly understand her students, specifically their strengths and weaknesses. She encourages the students by providing them with positive reinforcement for their strengths and, similarly, extra attention in those areas in which they need further assistance. Whether she’s using “letter people” or her “school grocery store,” Mrs. Miller is utilizing fun methods to effectively teach her students important life skills like learning letters and coin values.

Mrs. Miller’s love of teaching—and her love of her Catholic faith—is greatly appreciated by her students’ parents who appreciate the positive effect she has on their children.
