As Meredith Palmer in the Emmy-winning sitcom “The Office,” Kate Flannery demonstrates a love of acting—one that was developed during her days at Archbishop Carroll High School. By her senior year, Flannery appeared in a Philadelphia dinner theater production of “Bye, Bye Birdie.” From there, Flannery followed her passion to the Shenandoah Conservatory, a performing arts school in Virginia, before returning to Philadelphia where she graduated from the University of the Arts. In addition to her role on “The Office,” Flannery has appeared on “The Bernie Mac Show,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and Comedy Central’s “Crossballs.” She is also an accomplished vocalist, having recorded with John Flansburgh of They Might Be Giants. Flannery is also the former musical director of the Los Angeles Drama Club, teaching Shakespeare to 5-8 year olds.
