Frank Cahill
Father Judge High School
A retired stockbroker, Mr. Frank Cahill now finds “value” in incorporating life lessons into his teaching curriculum. Students fortunate enough to have Mr. Cahill for English or British Literature this school year may learn how to write a check, invest in stocks or open a savings account.
“I teach a total of four ‘Life 101 Lessons’ a year,” says Cahill. “I believe students should learn these important lessons now, before they go on to college and further their education.”
For Mr. Cahill, there is no better reward to teaching than seeing a struggling student finally “get it.” “When I see that light bulb go on, I feel that I have done my job as a teacher.” In addition to teaching 11th and 12th grade English, Mr. Cahill is also the head basketball coach at Father Judge High School, a position he has held for four years.
When he is not teaching English or coaching basketball at Father Judge, Mr. Cahill enjoys taking trips to Cape May with his family. While his wife is an avid fisher, he prefers to relax on the beach where he can grade papers and just take in the seaside scenery. Mr. Cahill also loves traveling the world and has been on cruises to Europe, Alaska and the Caribbean.
