Dr. Brian McDonough

Dr. McDonough is a nationally renowned family physician who has served as Medical Reporter on KYW Newsradio for the past 20 years and is heard on over 500 radio stations across the country. Dr. McDonough has also worked as medical reporter for Fox-29. During his broadcasting career, Dr. McDonough has won four Emmy Awards, the Jules Bergman Award, and the American Medical Writers Association's Walter Alvarez Award for Excellence in Medical Communication. Dr. McDonough is a Clinical Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health at Temple University School of Medicine. He is also Associate Director of the St. Francis Hospital Family Practice Residency Program where he maintains an active practice. Dr. McDonough was named Family Physician of the Year in 2006 and was voted by medical students to receive the Sir William Osler Award for Bedside Teaching.
