Early Childhood programs in our Catholic elementary schools begin the educational journey to excellence. Our programs provide opportunities for unifying all aspects of children's lives. Each year of Catholic education fosters growth in the awareness of God's love as experienced in the classroom, family, and the parish community. Our elementary schools are arenas of educational distinction because our students are given structure, discipline, guidance and direction, as well as affirmation, which helps our students to nurture and develop a positive self-image.

The educational program in our schools follows the Archdiocesan Curriculum Guidelines that meet or exceed the state and national standards. Our elementary schools excel because we have a focused faith-centered curriculum, parental involvement, and high expectations.

Our Elementary Schools at a Glance

• 98% of the elementary schools in the Archdiocese have been accredited by the Middle States Association, and an additional 2% have completed the process and are awaiting their status.
• More than 4,000 students participate in Elementary Honors Math Programs in 78 Archdiocesan schools. These students are prepared to participate in advanced-placement mathematics courses at the secondary level.
• World Language instruction is offered in 102 elementary schools.
• Fine Arts programs are in existence in every Archdiocesan school.
• Students from Archdiocesan schools have taken top honors in the Future Cities competition as well as in county and regional science competitions.
